Heily Munoz was born in Cuba and was shaped by the difficulties of the "Special Period." She is a strong and resourceful person who has made it through hard times financially and family separation to make a good life for herself and her family. Heily was born in Pinar del Rio, the capital city of her mother, and grew up in San Antonio De Los Baños, where her father was born and raised. She saw how hard her parents worked to make things better. They both had college degrees in agriculture sciences and veterinary science, so Heily was inspired by them to pursue a career at a university one day.
Because her mother was going to Venezuela for two years to improve the family's quality of life, Heily had to take care of her younger sister while she was gone. Later, his father went to Brazil and the U.S. to find better job chances, leaving Heily to learn how to be independent and run a household at a young age. Even with these problems, heily always learned different skills like ballet, dance, painting, and theater. These childhood activities taught her the importance of resilience, even when times get complicated. This shaped her personality for future efforts.
The Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences " Martires de HUMBOLDT 7" was Heily's college destination. It was there that she made friends that would last till today. After years of hard work and some difficulties, she finally followed her dream of becoming a graphic designer at the Higher Institute of Graphic Design in Havana City. However, when her family finally moved to the United States, she made the critical choice to put family first. She had to take a short break from school. After moving, working full-time and attending school full-time was difficult for Heily because she wasn't making enough money to pay for her education, and the language barrier was interfering.
Eventually, she restarted her career with a Major In Digital Media Design and two minors, Advertising and Marketing. She also started working in real estate and loved it as much as Graphic Design. Helping families get their dream homes is what Heily loves most about her job as a realtor, so she integrates these two passions into her daily life. Today, she helps with digital media, advertising, and marketing at Ace Realty and Associates and other businesses, including her Real Estate career.
Heily lives in Cape Coral, a cape in Southwest Florida with bridges and about 400 miles of freshwater and saltwater canals, which she loves about this city. Her love of travel, spending time with her family, and making new friends drives her to become the best version of herself.
Heily is passionate about plants, especially succulents and pines. She finds happiness in many things, such as drawing with acrylics, dancing merengue and salsa, listening to audiobooks on long car rides, or simply walking her beloved dogs, Sebastian and Lucky.
