Lake Kennedy Racquet Center, a prominent sports facility in Cape Coral. In January 2025, discussions began regarding rebranding the facility to “The Courts at Lake Kennedy” to better represent its offerings and modern appeal.

• Opening Date: The center officially opened to the public on August 28, 2024.  

• Facilities:

• 32 pickleball courts. 

• 12 tennis courts. 

• A pro shop offering equipment and apparel.

• A snack shack that plans to serve beer and wine. 

• Outdoor gathering spaces equipped with cornhole and ping pong tables.

• Annual Memberships:

• Individual: $250.

• Household Couple: $350.

• Household Family: $500.

• Junior: $100.

• Semi-Annual Memberships:

• Individual: $125.

• Household Couple: $175.

• Household Family: $250.

• Discounts are available for veterans and first responders. Additionally, a founder’s rate offered a 50% discount on annual memberships for those who signed up within the first two months of opening.  

Programs and Events:

• The center offers lessons, clinics, and camps catering to all skill levels. 

• Shortly after its opening, it hosted the United Pickleball Florida State Championship Series from August 28 to September 1, 2024, attracting over 300 participants statewide.
